I’m 62 and retiring soon. The younger generation; the millennials and Z generation face much more competition for jobs than us, boomers with less job security. My son is a millennial with a BS and a Master in CS and it’s not any easier for him.

A good batch of mushrooms during the pandemic cleared my “money mind”… shortly after my “trip”, I sold all my rentals, paid off all my debt, invested the rest, never missed a family event, started eating better, working out aggressively, and started traveling the world, many times solo. Funny thing, the net worth is still growing, I’m just not as focused on it.
